This page is part of D2D's public trust and legal information. Where mandatory law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those mandatory rights continue to apply.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies are small data items used by websites to maintain sessions, remember choices, protect forms, measure usage or support integrations. Some are necessary for a requested feature; others are optional.
2. Essential technologies
D2D uses essential session and security technologies for features such as login state, CSRF protection, saved browser-session state and secure account interactions. These are required for the service to work and are not used solely for advertising.
3. Analytics
When analytics integrations are enabled, D2D may use analytics technologies to understand page usage, performance and errors. The exact provider and configuration may change. Where consent is legally required, analytics should be activated only after the required choice is obtained.
4. Advertising
When advertising integrations are enabled, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies and the consent settings applicable to the visitor. Advertising technologies are separate from the essential cookies needed for account functionality.
5. Managing cookies
- Use any Cookie Preferences control displayed by D2D when that consent feature is enabled.
- Use browser controls to delete or block cookies. Blocking essential cookies can prevent login or other account features from working.
- Review the privacy settings of any third-party service reached from D2D.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated when D2D adds, removes or changes cookie-based integrations. The effective date on the page identifies the current version.
