This page is part of D2D's public trust and legal information. Where mandatory law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those mandatory rights continue to apply.
1. Why this page exists
Dare To Dream is used by students, including teenagers. This page explains how age affects account creation, consent and data-rights handling. The rules below are designed as a safety baseline; mandatory local law may require a different or higher standard.
2. Users below age 13
A child below age 13 should not create a self-service D2D account or submit personal information through the public registration flow. A parent or legal guardian should contact D2D first if they want to use a D2D service for a younger child.
3. Teen users aged 13 to 17
Teenagers may use age-appropriate D2D features only with any parent or guardian permission required by applicable law. The public D2D registration flow requires the user to confirm either that they are an adult or that they are an eligible teenager using the service with parent or guardian permission.
4. Parents and guardians
- Review the Privacy Policy and the information a student plans to submit.
- Help the student avoid sharing unnecessary identity documents, financial information or sensitive personal details in public or unverified channels.
- Contact D2D if you believe a child submitted personal information without the required permission.
- Use the Data Deletion Request page to ask for deletion of eligible information, subject to identity/authority verification and lawful retention requirements.
5. Data minimization for younger users
D2D aims to collect only information reasonably needed for the feature being used. A younger user should not provide government identification, bank credentials, medical information or other highly sensitive data unless a specific secure D2D workflow clearly requires it and the parent or guardian understands the purpose.
6. If information was submitted without appropriate consent
A parent or guardian can submit a privacy request identifying the account email and explaining their relationship to the child. D2D may need to verify identity and authority before providing access to or deleting account information.

You can also use the Data Deletion Request page for a documented deletion request.
