A full-time 2-year teaching fellowship with Teach For India across 9 cities in India. Open to graduates from all subjects; no prior teaching experience required.
The Teach For India Fellowship is a full-time, 2-year teaching fellowship for India's most promising young leaders. Fellows teach full-time in under-resourced classrooms across 9 cities while developing leadership skills to drive long-term change in education equity.
Fellowship cities: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject, completed by June/July 2027
- No prior teaching experience required
- Applications opened 1 August 2026 and are reviewed on a rolling basis through March 2027
- Application deadline: 1 November 2026
- 2 years of classroom leadership experience in an under-resourced school
- Ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship throughout the Fellowship
- Access to a 5,500+ strong alumni network
- Monthly stipend of ₹30,000, plus City Compensatory Allowance of ₹6,000–₹12,600 for Fellows who relocate
- Graduate by June/July 2027 (any discipline)

The selection process includes an Assessment Centre featuring a sample teaching lesson and an interview.
