The DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2027/28 supports the MSc in Environmental Governance (MEG programme) at the University of Freiburg, Germany, for the winter semester 2027/28 intake.
Important: The scholarship application is submitted one year ahead of admission. Applications go via the MEG programme (online eligibility assessment + PDF by email), not to DAAD directly.

Eligibility criteria:
- Nationals of DAC developing countries
- Degree completed a maximum of 6 years ago
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience gained after the bachelor's degree (internships do not count)
- Above-average degree result (upper third)
- EUR 992/month stipend

- Travel allowance
- Exemption from the EUR 1,500/semester tuition fee for non-EU students
