Study Master’s Programmes in English at NTNU with scholarship

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) offers a wide range of English-taught Master’s programmes from Engineering and Informatics to Marine Technology and Neuroscience with options that include International Master’s programmes, Joint Nordic (N5T) programmes and Erasmus Mundus consortia.

Who can apply?

  • International applicants (Non-EU / Non-EEA / EFTA) eligible for most international Master’s programmes; note some programmes are restricted to EU/EEA/Swiss applicants only.

What each programme offers

  • International Master’s programmes: Most are 2-year MSc/MA programmes where you typically spend the full two years at NTNU. Examples include Applied Computer Science, Sustainable Energy, Subsea Technology, and Neuroscience.
  • Joint Nordic Master’s (N5T): Study at two Nordic universities (one year at each) and earn double degrees. NTNU usually charges no tuition for these, but partner universities might.
